Who we are

Modern Kitchen San Diego refers homeowners to contractors

Modern Kitchen San Diego isn’t a general contractor. It’s a referral service that puts San Diego County homeowners in touch with licensed, independent kitchen remodelers. They handle full gut remodels, cabinet refacing, custom cabinetry, countertops, islands, backsplashes, and open-concept wall removals.

Nobody on our side swings a hammer, hires installers, carries a contractor's license, quotes a price or backs a job with a warranty. Those calls belong to the contractor you pick: they look at the room, name the price and timeline, and sign the agreement with you. Before you sign, look up their CSLB license and insurance yourself at cslb.ca.gov.

Share your city and project scope, and we’ll try to match you with an independent remodeler who works in your area. Ask that business who handles demo, cabinets, counters, plumbing, electrical, tile, and finish, then have those names put in the written scope. Modern Kitchen San Diego doesn’t supervise the job.

What you can count on

What we do, and what we do not

You verify the contractor.

Look up the current CSLB license and insurance at cslb.ca.gov before signing. A license doesn’t guarantee quality. It only confirms legal standing.

Written scope before demo.

Ask your contractor when refacing makes more sense than a full remodel, when a partial demo will do, and whether a wall is load-bearing. Have those answers put in writing.

You contract with the remodeler.

The work, the price, and the warranty aren’t ours. You get a quote from the contractor and sign with them directly, not with us.

The call is recorded.

You hear a short recording notice, then the call connects. It is not a live desk of ours, and we do not promise someone picks up.
